OT - Ryleigh Minnich's surgery
Hey all,
I'm gonna catch up on the posts sometime today...but....
One of Eric's twins, Ryleigh, had surgery at LVH today for tonsils and adnoid removal.
She is out of surgery and doing well. She's confused and groggy, and on some oxygen but Eric and Erin are now allowed with her and she seemed to calm down once they got back to her. There was minimal blood loss during the procedure
She'll be spending the night at LVH.
Thoughts and prayers to the whole Minnich family, as Ryleigh continues her recovery and mom and dad learn to breathe again!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Thanks for posting! GREAT NEWS that things are going well. Eric and Erin, I went through this with Dee when she was 2. Believe me, it is worse for you then it is for them! Children are resillent and in a couple of days she will be back to normal. Make sure you have tylenol and motrin in the house just in case. Lots of fluids and ice cream(which always makes me feel better! LOL!!).
Dee is having some dental work done on 9/17, so NOT looking forward to that! She will be put under for that...ICE CREAM DAY following procedure....

Update on Ry.... I left the hospital about 45 mins ago after almost 18 hours. Ry was awake but getting sleepy when I left. She is eating soft food and starting to drink more. She's doing really great. Very happy and loving the attention. She should be home tomorrow sometime. Thank you to everyone for everything. We love you all!
